Born in South Dakota, I grew up in Oklahoma and Michigan, and have lived in Chicago, New York, Boston, London, Prague and Paris. I have degrees from the University of Michigan and Harvard, and I'm working on a third at University College London. I have worked as a babysitter, barista, bartender, waitress, warehouse picker, playwright, director and producer, teacher of English language and literature, and humanities department head.
Recently, I completed my first novel, AND ONE FINE MORNING. I've begun work on my second.
In a pandemic-free alternate reality, I divide my time between New York and Paris.
